FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What kind of hair does BELLAMI use?
A: BELLAMI Professional only uses ethically sourced 100% full-cuticle human Remy hair from Asia's Western and Northern regions. BELLAMI'S factory implements the highest production standards and is 9001 and L'Oréal certified.
Q: Will extensions damage my natural hair?
A: They will not cause damage being properly installed, removed and mainted by a BELLAMI accredited professional. After-care is also vital to keeping the hair strong and healthy.
Q: How long does the hair last?
A: Each pro method has a different life span. I-tip and Wefts last up to one year. Tape-Ins last up to five months, K-tips last up to 5 months. This estimate varies and depends on at-home care and regular salon maintenance.
Q: Why do I lose so much natural hair when I brush or shower?
A: Everyone sheds an average of 50-150 strands per day.
You'll notice something unique when wearing extensions. Even if you shed more than the average person, you'll see an extreme decrease when wearing extensions. A natural shed is still occurring but remains inside the extension.
Once removed, all the shed from weeks prior will be released at the same time. Don't panic! Though it may look like a lot of hair falling out, it's only your natural shed.
