Welcome to Blonde about Town! A new quarterly feature where Blonde dives into what is going on in the Hair world, what is going on in the community and what we are loving right now.

We have been launched into the fall season; the leaves have turned, Thanksgiving has passed and Halloween beckons. Witches - dust off your brooms!

Blonde has been preparing for some big things, our 5th anniversary being one of them. We're keeping this on a strict need-to-find basis... Keep checking our social media for more information! And if you aren't already, make sure you are subscribed to our email list so you never miss an update.

Have you seen the Blonde Book Club Hoodie? Currently available for a limited preorder, this is our must have item for the fall. Preorder is available until October 15th. We recommend pairing it with your favourite book, a PSL, and light your exclusive Blonde candle ~ girl you are set! There are two scents left; Blonde, But Never the MMC and Book Boyfriends and Blowouts - get them before they are gone!

Rolling into November, Blonde is turning 5! What an adventure this has been so far, we are so grateful to our community and clients for their continued support over the years. To celebrate, we have put together something that we are pretty excited about, and it involves you! All you need to be doing now is checking our stories, and this is something we know you won't want to miss. Make sure to turn on our story notifications so you don't miss a thing!

Have you heard!? This isn't new news, however we just love to take a moment to talk about BOOKS! We are an outpost for the Nottawa Cottage Bookstore, and we are frequently updating the books we have available in the Studio. Many of the books have been read or recommended by the girls here - so if you're ever looking for a new read and can't make it to the Cottage, think of Blonde!

And don't forget! We are just about 10 weeks away from Christmas (we know - we can't believe it either!) and the books are filling up!! Please make sure to pre-book your holiday services and reach out with any questions about availability. Soon we will only have waitlist options available - spaces are limited! October 31: Tarot Reading Pop-Up with A Medium Named Bri at Nottawa Cottage Bookstore! This one is first come - first served so you will want to be there early!

Coming Up

Where are our bookish girlies at?? We are on the edge of our seats waiting for the upcoming release of ACOTAR 6 (and 7 in the New Year). The only thing getting us through the wait is the Midnight Release Party being hosted by Nottawa Cottage Bookstore at Side Launch Brewery. The girls have been working very hard on their costumes and we have a good feeling there will be some stiff competition for the costume contest! While the event is sold out, there is currently a waitlist if tickets become available. This night is sure to be a memorable one.

We've already mentioned it here, but remember... for our 5th Anniversary.. things are on a need-to-find basis...

Here you will find what the girls are currently obsessing over...

If you know our Ainsley, the girl is obsessed with many things, so it was hard for her to only pick one, so she settled on two. She is loving Starside by Alex Aster; a fantasy novel where an orphaned blacksmith's apprentice enters a deadly, high-stakes competition in a realm of immortals not to win a prize, but to kill the gods who destroyed her family. She is also loving the THIC Oil - it is everything in one! A natural heat protectant, reduces breakage and promotes shiny, healthy hair.

Laura is loving the Hold.Me styling stick! It is one of her absolute faves for fly aways and final touches. She uses it via its applicator, but also recommends using it on your hands and through your hair when your look is complete. Keeping you looking sleek and polished!

Amanda is loving the 'YeeHaw' Detangler Brush from Framar! Beyond it being totally the cutest brush out there (howdy cow print!), we know that is important to get a a new brush is as the seasons shift. Keeping a fresh, clean brush handy leads to the best for your lucious locks.
